MANCHESTER– Akhir pekan ini sepak bola dunia kembali menghiasi layar kaca para penggila olahraga tersebut. Dari Inggris, Liverpool kembali bertemu Leicester City di King Power Stadium, Sabtu (23/9/2017).
Ini menjadi pertemuan kedua hanya dalam kurun waktu kurang dari satu minggu. Pada tengah pekan ini, Liverpool kalah 0-2 di tempat yang sama dalam ajang Piala Liga Inggris.
The Reds mendominasi laga tetapi tak ada yang berbuah gol. Pertemuan ini bisa menjadi ajang balas dendam pasukan Juergen Klopp, atau sebaliknya Leicester melanjutkan catatan positifnya.
Dari Spanyol, Real Madrid mencoba bangkit setelah terpuruk pada tengah pekan ini karena kalah 0-1 dari Real Betis. Kali ini Cristiano Ronaldo dkk menyambangi markas Alaves, yang sedang dalam performa sangat buruk lantaran belum pernah mencetak gol dan selalu kalah dalam lima laga.
